Some very important travel information on this 1st day of February!

Starting May 7, 2025, any travlers flying domestically (meaning within the United States) will need to have a REAL ID compliant license or ID card. A valid passport can be used in lieu of this REAL ID. Without one of those 3 items, you will not be allowed through the TSA security checkpoint

This start date has been pushed back for quite a few years, but the TSA recently announced that they are sticking with the May 7, 2025 date

You can get a REAL ID-compliant driver's license from your state's DMV.

I was quoting a 10 night Cruise on the Celebrity Ascent out of Fort Lauderdale for February 13, 2026 today. There are only FOUR rooms left in the Concierge Club category.

Our price for this balcony room? $5,288.48 for 2 and it includes a Beverage Package for 2 and WiFi for 2!!

Other rooms in lower categories were more expensive without the perks.

Anyone else agree? It's always so sad to see all the luggage out and know its the end of the cruise.

Funny story.... on my very first cruise, someone very close me left their change of clothes on the desk and someone else very close to me PACKED those clothes in the luggage that was taken away. Person #1 had to disembark in their pj's. Thankfully someone in our party had a windbreaker they kept out (it was the 90s!...windbreakers were all the rage!) so person #1 was able to wear the windbreaker over their jammies. I promise I will never forget my change of clothes after that incident!
