Laura Roberts Design Classically trained in art at The Art Institute of Chicago, specializing in fabrics, Laura Roberts h In 2009, her business was renamed Laura Roberts Design.

Laura’s flare for design emerged at an early age when she began sewing at eight years old and created beautiful weavings with her own loom at age 17. Her experience includes working with The George Eastman House, cataloging The Gernsheim House collection of photography at The Harry Ransom Center. After years in a high tech career, Laura Alexander Design was launched when the home Laura built and furnished was selected for the 2002 Austin AIA Homes Tour.
