Whirligigs, Wormholes & Stations in Space

Explore Architecture! Using inspiration from the world around us, we’ll build a Tree Fort for Finn and Jake, explore the Gameboy as a tool for design, learn about Frank Lloyd Wright’s Automatic Houses and make our way through a wormhole or two. Celebrating the April solar eclipse, we will design Celestial Architecture, rethink the Space Station, build an Oceanscraper and construct Whirligig Thingys based on the Eames’ Solar Do-Nothing Machine.

Our Fall 2023 launch is happening this week! We have a fantastic set of projects lined up including working with inspiration from Wild Kratts, designing a FrankenHouse, exploring Austin's very own Cathedral of Junk (upcycling is awesome!), learning about terraforms, accordion houses and lots, lots more!
