The idea for “RENewell” came to Kelcy while he was losing money renting a townhouse he owned in Montgomery County after overpaying for it. If you think that this is the worst possible time to start a property management company, you would not be alone in that sentiment. Not sharing that sentiment, Kelcy felt that the experiences he had gained in the multiple years of the failed rental property cou
ld be leveraged to help others avoid some of the mistakes he had made. Based on Kelcy’s personal rental experience and his passion for sustainable urban housing, he has built RENewell to be a unique, client centered, transparent organization.
