This cruise-loving family will be setting sail for yet another Thanksgiving week cruise, this time on Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas!
Allure will be heading into dry dock later this winter for a $100m refurbishment! New pools, new interiors, new bars & restaurants including the brand new Pesky Parrot tiki bar which can currently only be found on Utopia of the Seas.

🍹 Pesky Parrot bar — I toured this on Utopia — it is an awesome hangout spot!
🥘 Mason Jar specialty restaurant serving Southern cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere
🏈 Playmakers Sports Bar — one of the most popular bars in the RC fleet!
🌊 Perfect Storm waterslide trio coming to the enhanced pool deck
🪣 Splashaway Bay Area for the littles
☀️ Revamped Solarium — a great adults-only oasis
🛝 Ultimate Abyss — 10-story dry slide, super-popular on the other Oasis class ships!
Even with all of these upgrades to bring Allure inline with the newer ships, Allure will still be the best value in the Oasis class. You’ll get refreshed cabins, all these new amenities, but without the “new ship” price tag!
She’s sailing the Med for Summer 2025, then she will sail 6-night Western and 8-night Eastern Caribbean for Winter 2026. Then she moves to Galveston for Spring 2026. I would love to tell you more about this amazing ship!

Value: I strive to find the best price combined with the most relevant amenities that add value to your vacation. For instance, at Disney World, I can add a dining plan to your reservation. I don’t recommend it for everyone — if you want a more all-inclusive feel and/or plan to dine at some of the “good value” restaurants, I would suggest it. If you like to graze or don’t always eat solid meals every day, the dining plan would not be a good value and thus, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s little things like this that add value to your vacation. As always my services are complimentary for my clients that book their travel packages with me!
