Last night at Talo, we hosted the final pop-up Harvest Table dinner of the season and it was absolutely perfect! πŸ‚βœ¨
The weather, the guests, the food - everything came together for a truly special evening…πŸ₯°

The menu was absolutely delightful:
* Welcome Plate: House sourdough with whipped brown butter, chicharones, green chili apple cider caramel, and red chili thread
* First: Root vegetable terrine with fresh herb salad
* Second: Morels and marrow potpie with apple pickle
* Third: French gnocchi with coq au vin and microgreens
* Fourth: Porchetta with pecan jeweled rice, pumpkin, brown butter hollandaise, and fried sage
* Fifth: Spice cookies, whipped cheesecake, toasted white chocolate ganache, cinnamon meringue wheel, and chai whipped cream

We are so incredibly grateful to Hilary Kamplain for choosing Talo as the home for this beautiful series of dinners - it’s been such an honor to have her cooking in our kitchen.
A huge thank you to all of the guests who joined us throughout this journey, and to the local vendors who provided their amazing seasonal ingredients.

Staff members from all over Oklahoma came to see and learn how we practice no till, crop rotation, composting, mulching and build pollinator habit as small urban farmers on less than 1 acre with their goal of better serving and partnering with small farmers like us to build a more resilient food supply chain across the country.🌿🧑
