There are still plenty of places open for business in the mountains of NC. The businesses need your support. Just call ahead and or read notices from the various towns. For instance, the Town of Blowing Rock is open for business. Much like other things, it’s not black and white. There are a lot of gray areas with things changing for the better rapidly in many spots.

Our house is close enough to walk to this lift (we’re a few houses down the road), but far enough away to not be in the middle of the lights and snow machines. You can hear the snow machines humming from outside of our house, but they’re not in our backyard! Https://abnb.me/d7CyB6bQVxb

We've been hard at work this summer, and we have some game-changing upgrades to share! Our biggest improvement this season is the implementation of RFID technology - no more waiting in line to reload tickets! We've also added six additional SMI Polecat snow guns to our snowmaking fleet. Carolina Caribbean is set to open this season with a brand-new covered carpet conveyor - it'll make learning to ride a breeze!
