Here is a recent 5-star review: "Very comfortable 4 bedrooms with 3 full baths, large main area was great for game night and sports. Rear deck was enormous! Easy to find and get inside. Felt right at home. Spotless furniture and linens, pristine kitchen. Owner was proactive, helpful and friendly. Beautiful surroundings, great restaurants and lots to do."

Reflecting on a wonderful weekend as we descend back to reality - we unwound in the cool mountain air, spent time with family, met our sweet great niece Riley, devoured a meal at our favorite Mexican restaurant Puerto Nuevo in Banner Elk and hiked a nice new trail - Owl Prowl. We always enjoy Altitude Adjustment at Beech Mountain and you can too! Let us know if you wish to book a stay!

This morning was spectacular.

Great day at Beech Mountain Ski Resort! We rented skiis and boots at Fred's place and were on the slopes at 9 am. Snow was wonderful.

Today we hiked near Lake Coffey. We started with Lower Pond Creek Trail. It's only .7 miles one way and was marked moderate to strenuous. The steep, rugged and slippery Trail offered a great workout plus spectacular scenery. Thankful for stable balance, good knees and strong muscles. Photos and videos along the way.

The mountains were calling. A short hike around Buckeye Lake, beautiful Fall colors and fresh mountain air. Ahh yes an altitude adjustment is just what the doctor ordered.
