Reflecting on a wonderful weekend as we descend back to reality - we unwound in the cool mountain air, spent time with family, met our sweet great niece Riley, devoured a meal at our favorite Mexican restaurant Puerto Nuevo in Banner Elk and hiked a nice new trail - Owl Prowl. This morning was spectacular.

Great day at Beech Mountain Ski Resort! We rented skiis and boots at Fred's place and were on the slopes at 9 am. Snow was wonderful.
