“Let’s talk about my favorite Festival: The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! Every year this festival gets longer and longer- this year this festival started on July 15th and runs until November 20th…this is the longest it has ever been! I think they realized a huge draw for EPCOT- especially for adults- is their festivals so they seem to be trying to make them available longer to accommodate more peoples trips which I think is great.
This year there will be 32 locations and pop up booths offering items exclusive to the festival. There will be 32 booths all together with some opening on October 1st! A few things I love about this festival are that it is very adult centered, while there are some fun things for children and families to enjoy its main focus is more on adults. There are plenty of options available to those that aren’t big wine drinkers or drinkers at all. If you are a big foodie this is the festival for you, there are so many amazing options for every taste.
Even though I am a picky eater I always find SO many things I enjoy and I love sharing with others and trying things I wouldn’t normally try. This year they are offering a ton of beer, cider, and wine flights as well. Personally, I want to try everything that sounds good without overdoing it so it’s a perfect option and great to share with whoever you’re with (over 21 of course)!
So let’s dig into my favorite food and drink items I have tried so far this year!
I thankfully had the chance to be at EPCOT this year on the opening day of the festival so I got to try some items before reading any reviews. My top 3 favorite food items so far are: The Maple Bourbon Cheesecake from Refreshment Port, the Shrimp and Coconut Curry Rice Noodles from the Noodle Exchange, and the Chicken Dumplings from China. My favorite drinks so far are: Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Pineapple Wine from Haw
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort celebrated its 24th birthday earlier this month! 🥳
In honor of this anniversary, here are 6 reasons why we think this is a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort hotel option:
1️⃣ It’s centrally located! Yes, Coronado Springs may only offer bus transportation, but it’s very close to Animal Kingdom, EPCOT & Hollywood Studios. The complimentary bus transportation is a great transportation option, but you can easily Uber / Lyft across Walt Disney World property as well (if you don’t have a car).
2️⃣ The resort as a whole is BEAUTIFUL. Between Gran Destino Tower (which opened in 2019), the resort grounds (including a beautiful lake) & more, you’re guaranteed stunning views whether you’re inside or outside. When we think of Coronado Springs, the words chic & modern come to mind!
3️⃣ There are a lot of amazing restaurant / lounge options, including Dahlia Lounge, Three Bridges Bar & Grill, Rix Sports Bar & Grill, Barcelona Lounge, Siestas Cantina, Laguna Bar, El Mercado de Coronado, Cafe Rix, Maya Grill and Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood.
4️⃣ The hotel rooms are modern & fresh. The newer rooms in Gran Destino Tower are of course new / modern, but the hotel rooms in the older section of the hotel have recently been renovated as well. I really like the hardwood flooring!
5️⃣ The pool complex (Dig Site) is fantastic! You can expect to see the hotel’s main pool, the largest hot tub on Disney property, seasonal poolside activities, a waterslide, a pool bar, a sand volleyball court & a kiddie pool area.
6️⃣ You can’t beat the price! Coronado Springs gives off Deluxe Resort vibes at a Moderate Resort price.
