Epcot’s Festival of the Arts returns Jan. 13th and runs through Feb. 20th. A celebration featuring more than 100 Disney and visiting artists and new mouthwatering menu items from around the globe. Each night the Disney on Broadway Concert Series will feature entertainers performing Disney songs at the America Gardens Theater. 🧁🎨🎼

October 1st will be the 40th Anniversary of Epcot!🎉🎉🎉

The 40th anniversary of the opening of Epcot Center is just a few days away.

Here we honor the three people who were most instrumental in seeing that some version - even a greatly modified and theme park centric one - of Walt Disney’s dream of an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow opened on the Florida property.

Ron Miller - President and COO of The Walt Disney Company (1980-1984.) Ron was also Walt Disney’s son-in-law.

Donn Tatum - CEO of the Walt Disney Company (1971-1976) and Chairman of the Board at Disney (1971-1980.) He helped to develop the idea and was semi-retired and executive chair of Disney when Epcot Center opened.

Esmond Cardon “Card” Walker - CEO of The Walt Disney Company (1976-1983) during Epcot Center’s opening.

Thanks for expanding the resort with an idea that was ahead of its time and yet of its time, sort of a permanent World’s Fair in honor of Walt.
