Did you know golf carts are welcome in the Light Up The Night Christmas Parade this Saturday? A local group of citizens is working to get a whole fleet of golf carts for the parade. They will be meeting on Friday at RiverBend Gallery on Pamlico Street at 3:30 to decorate.

Attention Residents: This week some parts of town will have temporary loss of water. Areas impacted will be: East Pungo, Edward, Riverview, E. Main, and East Water Street. There is no need to report the outage. This is necessary to connect the newly installed water line.

The Planning Board meeting that was scheduled for TODAY has been rescheduled for Monday, Dec. 2 at 4PM at the Civic Center. Due to illness, several members were unable to attend. There would not be a quorum present to conduct business.
