Each spring we close the lodge for a refresh. Deep cleaning, small improvements, updating decor and comfort items. This year in addition to the usual spruce, we replaced the main level carpet and entry tile with beautiful vinyl plank flooring! 🤩

We’re excited to host our summer guests in the new space! Select Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 dates are available, now booking summer/fall 2024!

OPENING DAY ANNOUNCEMENT
The slopes of Schuss Mountain will open on Saturday, December 19th.

The 10-day forecast has favorable snowmaking conditions returning this weekend with solid 24-hour periods to follow. Our crew will make the most of every opportunity.

It's too soon to say how many runs or whether there will be a temp terrain park set. We'll see what we're able to accomplish based on the weather that shows up. Most of you already know we will work around the clock to get Schuss ready.

Torch lake sandbar is warming up for the season! This popular spot is well known for a party, but there’s plenty of space to spread out and relax if that’s more your speed. If you’ve got a boat, we’ve got parking! Scenic View Lodge is a short drive to several torch lake boat launches.

We’re committed to clean! Scenic View Lodge is stepping up sanitation and disinfectant measures in response to Covid-19, both between guests and during your stay.
• Between guests we will be following CDC and VRMA guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting. Which includes allowing at least 24 hours between renters and cleaning services.
• We have also stocked the lodge with a variety of cleaning products for guest use (if you so choose), to help keep high contact surfaces virus free during your stay.

The Scenic View Lodge team will continue to monitor new information and guidelines to ensure guest and staff health and safety and will adjust procedures as necessary.

Rainy days happen...so do tournaments! Our lower living room is fully loaded with big screen TV, games and game table, foosball table, mini bar and ample seating! Oh, and a great view! Rainy days in just got a whole lot more fun! 🌧🤩

With two cozy bedrooms and a dedicated bathroom, the 3rd floor is perfect for the youngsters (or young at heart!) in your group! 🦊 The “Blue Fox” and “Green Fox” bedrooms offer a duplicate set up of full bed under twin bed bunks! Featuring cozy details like built in dresser drawers and the convenience of full size closets, these rooms are sure to please! Clever little fox 🦊
