East Lake Farm

East Lake Farm is a full service Hunter/Jumper barn run by Paula Mangiaracina and is located just on the other side of St. Louis in Caseyville, Ilinois

Services include board, training, sales, lessons and shows for riders and horses of any level of experience.

We had a great weekend showing at the Dublin Farms, ltd show. We somehow avoided the rain lol!
Everyone did well and had a good time. Thank you Boo and family for hosting this show. Your facility is gorgeous!

Congratulations to East Lake Farm riders on a great show at the beautiful Happenstance Farms.
Claire/Calvin- reserve Sat. and champion Sun in the open hunters. Also 4th in the mini derby. Calvin is owned by Alice Potts.
Lynne/Monty- won the Master's. This was her second show with Monty. He was also open champ on Sat and won the mini derby shown by Claire.
Viv/Milani- Intermediate rider jumper champion and Mohjo Jumper classic winner.
Thank you Ashley for coming out to school the horses on Fri. Also thank you to Ellen and staff for hosting this very nice show. Looking forward to the next one!!

East Lake Farm riders had a fun weekend at the Silver Fox Stables Leprechaun show. Horses and riders performed well as they all moved into new divisions this year. The horse show was huge and every ribbon was well earned! Special thanks to the Silver Fox show staff for keeping the show running smoothly!
I also enjoyed seeing my friend Karen Strow who came to check out the show.
All in all it was a great weekend spent with fun people and their horses!!

Went to the Missouri Hunter Jumper Organization (MOHJO) fabulous year end awards party last night. East Lake Farm riders were recognized for a fantastic 2023 horse show season. It was a fun evening spent with family and friends.

Big Daddy was a great one. He was a pony horse and trail horse for his owner Gail. He then became a lesson horse for me. Claire taught him to jump and he loved it. He went on to winning many awards in the show ring including year end awards for our organization. Pretty good for a horse of unknown origin- possibly a draft cross or Morgan.
He lived life on his own terms which we all accepted.
Last night we laid him to rest due to a very sudden and severe case of colic. I now know he's enjoying eating all the grass and treats he wants with no restrictions.
Here's to you Big Daddy! Thank you for being a part of the East Lake Farm family. Give my (and everyone's) love to the rest of the gang up there! R.I.P.

Viv and Milani started the 2024 show year off right by being champion in both the .75 and intermediate rider jumpers. They were also 4th in the Mohjo jumper classic. Thanks to Prime Time shows for hosting this event. It sure was fun!

We had the best time at the St. Louis Pre Charity show hosted by DMG Shows. I just had the jumpers and they were awesome. Thanks to Corrie, Ali and of course Robert for all your help. Definitely looking forward to the fall shows!
Viv/Milani- Intermediate champion, .75 reserve
Kelsey/Ten- .95 champion, 2nd in the classic and great ribbons in the lows. This was his first rated show and he was definitely a perfect 10!!

We have completed 2 days of showing at the Happenstance show. We have had great results and a super fun time. Added bonus is that the weather has been awesome! One more day to go!

I would like to thank everyone who came to the show this weekend. We had some challenges with the weather, but Robert and Mark worked on the ring so we could show. Thanks to Tammy for judging, Julie for announcing and Lynne for being secretary. Claire and Izzy were also a big help keeping me organized- that's probably the toughest job of all lol. Neal had his now famous breakfast burritos and Jess took some great pictures along with helping jump crew.
Again- thank you everyone. It was an awesome weekend!

We had a great day of showing despite the rain. The ring held up well and we are ready to do it again tomorrow. Indoor ring start time is 9. Outdoor ring is 930. We will probably be starting jumpers around 11.
Neal will be there with his breakfast burritos and Jess will be taking pictures.

We had a great time at the Flying Fox show managed by DMG Shows. Saturday was a very long day but the horses didn't seem to mind.
Viv/Milani won the jumper classic along with winning all their other classes.
Kelsey/Ten won the mini prix and placed well in their classes.
Addelynn/Beau won a crossrail class and had other good placings in a large division.
Izzy/Mouse won a crossrail class and moved up to the 2' and got good ribbons.
Thanks to everyone who came out to support our riders and special thanks to Claire for all your help.

The first show of the 2023 show season is in the books. Viv/Milani were champion in the intermediate jumpers and reserve champ in the .75. Kelsey brought her new horse Windy and they were champion in the .85. I think this is going to be a great team.
Thanks to DMG Shows for providing a fun and well run show. We are looking forward to the rest of the winter.
