Take a guided, educational bike tour through Ferndale’s charming countryside with Bike Northwest to celebrate Sustainable Connection’s Farm to Table Trails program! Welcome to Bike Northwest! We're a Bellingham, WA-based program of Experience International. Here are some fun facts bout us:
- We design local bike excursions that focus on educating you about the food systems, natural resources, and ecosystems that make up our Pacific Northwest bioregion
- We combine cycling with storytelling to create immersive experiences that deepen connections to the land and sea of our region
- Whether we’re learning about Whatcom County’s marine environment and indigenous culture, or our local farmers and food systems, we bring in “special guests” to meet with our group at poignant stops along our route to share interesting information related to the theme of that particular ride.
- Our bike rides feature idyllic scenery, conversations with local farmers, competent guides, an easy-going "party-pace," local, fresh food, and lots of hydration.
