We believe that there are other many other runners who, like us, want the challenge of distance running without the congestion and structure of a race: runners who love the mountains, the wilderness and desire the freedom of sacred open spaces.

The Wilderness Act of 1964 preserved American wilderness “to ensure for the American poeple of present and future generations the benefits of an enduring resource of wilderness.” In our new political landscape, that resource is under threat.

Educator and guide @ian.ramsey and Aspire founder Abram Dickerson write on the history of the Wilderness Act and modern threats to this critical legislation under the new administration on this edition of the Runner's Reverb.

Autumn always comes bearing cold, wind, and rain. We've been waiting in the wings with bonfire, coffee, & the Galbraith Community Trail Series.

There's a charm to cold winter mornings. Watching your breath at the race start, coffee in hand. Stretching out near the fires. Shedding layers throughout the races as your body temperature rises.

Opportunities to connect with our community of runners through the darker months are invaluable. The Galbraith Winter Races are that opportunity.

2nd Saturdays - November through February.
First race - Saturday, November 9th.
Hot apple crisp, coffee & bonfires at the race start.

Aspire alumni can now register for their preferred dates on our 2025 adventures!

We deeply appreciate our community of alumni runners and the time we share in the mountains. As an expression of our gratitude, Aspire is opening registration up to alumni in advance of General Registration opening on November 1st for the first time this year.

Whether in the alpine meadows of the Wonderland Trail, amongst the granite monoliths of Yosemite, or another adventure on our calendar, we are looking forward to spending time on trail together next season.

Crisp autumn air brings on many things, and we're excited for the smell of apple crisp and campfires to fill the air at Race HQ. We'll be hosting 4 winter races again this year, same start/finish on Galbraith Mountain, similar courses, same charming community mountain vibes. We're looking forward to spending second Saturdays on the mountain with our PNW Community.

Pull up the calendar, call your run crew, and to next summer's Aspire adventure running trips! Imagine your run crew striding across the glistening granite of Yosemite or the wildflower kissed meadows of Mount Rainier's Wonderland Trail. Feel yourself sinking into a post run stretch by the rushing rivers of the North Cascades, and enjoying a post-run meal as your squad reminisces over the day's miles.

"Christy from our group spotted the bear across the river! It paralleled our trail for a few hundred feet before disappearing into a clump of trees. It looked sleek and well fed. It was a great encounter: close but not to close!"

Lance, New Mexico, on their groups bear sighting during the . Bear sighting are not uncommon during the three day, 94 mile trek around .

"This (Wonderland) trip was a first for me... so I was extremely out of my depth and nervous. The lead Guide Tim checked in on me with a phone call prior to the trip which give me great comfort that they were experienced and being very proactive about their participants and making sure we had all the information we needed.

The guides during the trip were so helpful, kind and supportive. From the words of encouragement to the amazing food they cooked for us. Nothing was too much hassle for them and they provided a really safe and supportive environment. I will definitely be doing another trip with Aspire!!"
