Planting grapes

They say the best time to plant a tree is yesterday. The second best time is today. Today we planted 60+ which is only 1/4 of what we are planting this year. Also got the blackberries and raspberries planted. Didn’t get the grapes or hops planted because we’re going to have to change our outlay for them. It’s coming though! Wait til you see what happens in the coming weeks!

I’ve had a lot of inquiries and I doubt I can clear this up in a post (I’ll try) but rather won’t be clear until you actually see it.

Docs on the River is an agritourism farm in hopes of bringing activities for families to do. It is planned to have a pumpkin patch, corn maze, kids educational events and activities, outdoor events, and even a community garden. Hopefully even a dog park.

This will be unique to the area as it will all be incorporated along the Ohio River in Belpre, Ohio with docks and riverfront activities. Docks on the river.

It is even more unique as it is a dream of a D.O.C. (doctor of chiropractic) to provide health through nutrition by bringing the table to the farm. Nutrient dense food will be grown and brought right to you on the beautiful riverfront. Doc’s on the River.

As an agritourism farm it’s even better as we are hosting a much needed for the Belpre/Parkersburg community farmers’ market. Belpre Farmers’ Market. With this other produce and livestock farms can provide their locally sourced goods right to you with no cost to them; as well as showcase their farms for you to be able to go straight to them to get the freshest meats and produce. All with absolutely no charge to them or you.

It is a dream to provide all this together right on the riverfront and that is what Doc’s on the River is.

Health comes from within through proper nutrition.

Would there be any interest in kayak rentals on the Ohio River. I have been asked and this could be something easily provided if there is.
