Hello, my name is Shannon. I am a wife, mother and grandmother to 4 girls. I have been planning Disney vacations for over 8 years alongside my daughter as a travel agent authorized in Disney Destinations. My love for Disney started in 1983 on my first trip to Magic Kingdom and Epcot with my family.

Collectively my daughter and I have been to Walt Disney World over 50 times and a dozen Disney cruises under our belt. We try to stay up to date on the latest and greatest on all that The Walt Disney Company has to offer.

Favorite Restaurant: Ohana at the Polynesian Resort 🌺

Fun Fact~ the Prince Charming Carousel at Magic Kingdom is over 100 years old! It was build in 1917 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and was located at the Detroit Palace Garden Park from 1917-1928. Then it was moved to Olympic Park in Maplewood, New Jersey where it remained for 38 years. In 1965 after Olympic Park closed, it needed major repairs and the structure was doomed for destruction if no one could make the repairs. In 1967, the Walt Disney Company purchased and made the magic happen! The original carousel had 72 horses but was refurbished to 90 horses total. After installation, Roy Disney noticed the carousel was not in perfect alignment of the breezeway through Cinderella Castle and was off by only 8 inches. Disney's team eventually moved the carousel to sit perfectly centered with the walkway. The next time you visit Magic Kingdom, take the time to enjoy the history of this beautiful timepiece. It is a must do for our family each visit!

Welcome to Small World Travel by Shannon and Ashlynn. We are your local mother-daughter Dynamic Disney Duo! We are Disney Vacation Consultants specializing in Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, and Adventures by Disney.
