Find your ✨zen✨ in Benton 🧘‍♀️

We are stoked for this collab between Olde Soul Acres + Yoga Flow with Lisa Mo. Flowers, and down dog, and a heckuva good time on the farm.

Here's the scoop:
This experience is appropriate for those with all levels of yoga experience---beginners welcome!

We will start with an hour of movement and breath, led by RYT-200 Lisa Molendini of Yoga Flow with Lisa Mo, set to a themed playlist of songs about flowers. This class is all about YOU! Whether you're looking for a workout or a chance to breathe and relax outdoors, options will be given to tailor class to exactly what your body is craving.

After yoga, we'll set aside some time for participants to explore and enjoy the farm while curating their very own bouquet to take home and enjoy!

Two options to attend...
Tuesday, August 16th at 6:30pm
Sunday, August 21st at 11am

To provide a more intimate experience, class size will be limited, and tickets are required.

The farm is within a quick drive from the greater Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, or Bloomsburg areas, so round up your friends and give yourselves a chance to stop and smell the flowers!

Along the creek and tucked away in the trees, visiting Forks Farm market is like stepping into another world. While it is a bit outside of Benton, this local gem is worth the trip.

With markets held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from June through October, there’s plenty of chances to check it out.

In fact, the next market is TOMORROW (7/23) from 10am-2pm. Stop by in the morning to stock up on local eggs, meat, produce, and more, take a wagon ride around the farm, visit the iconic covered bridges nearby, then head back into town for a little shopping and lunch.

We interrupt your rodeo programming to bring you FLOWERS 💐 You-Pick flowers, that is.

Olde Soul Acres will be open for You-Pick Flowers this weekend, Sat 7/16 & Sun 7/17 from 8am-4pm each day.

Cut a bucketful gorgeous blooms while you soak in some fresh, country air. Pre-picked bouquets will be stocked in the milkhouse, too, if you don’t want to pick your own.

A few ‘ground rules’ for visiting the farm:

🌼We will have multiple price point containers. Snips are available but you’re always welcome to bring your own. Expect to spend from $15-45 depending on container size. We provide all containers.
🌼Please leave your pets at home. While we love them, this is a working farm with livestock. If you have a service animal, please contact us directly and we will be happy to make accommodations.
🌼Parking is in front of the barn, right next to the milkhouse. Please do not drive up our field lanes or in our driveway. Again if you need accommodations, let us know.
🌼We do not have public restrooms available.
🌼Wear appropriate clothing. There are both grass and plastic walkways, but there may be rocks, uneven ground, and elevation. The field gets full sun, so beat the heat and get here early!
🌼PYO is self-serve, though we will be around all day answering questions and to say hello!
🌼We accept Cash/PayPal/Venmo.

The field is LOADED with flowers so come and get them! 💐

Rodeo week is one of the best weeks of the year in our little town! 🤠 Not only is the rodeo itself a fun time, but our local businesses like join in the festivities with lots of rodeo-themed food, drinks, music, and fun!

It’s rodeo week in Benton! 🤠 The fun starts on Tuesday, with a full slate of events that runs through Sunday.

The Benton Rodeo is considered one of the best of over 65 rodeos east of the Mississippi River, as voted by the American Professional Rodeo Association. It draws cowboys and cowgirls from all over the country and beyond. They come to the rodeo to show what they've got and to compete with the best of the best. The Benton Area Rodeo Association is a non-profit organization whose goal is to stimulate tourism to the Benton area to provide fundraising opportunities to the Local Charities, Service Groups, Fire Companies, Ambulance Associations, Scouts and Churches. This event is growing each and every year, so don't sit home. Come be a part of this awesome event. You won't be disappointed.

Located just outside of downtown Benton, this little gem is stocked full of the most beautiful flowers and planters, tons of in-season produce, and a barn full of antiques and treasures.

Grab a hot sausage at the Fireman’s Carnival, or dinner and drinks Central Park Hotel.

Tonight we had the brisket basket, and pulled pork with homemade mac and cheese, and it was every bit as delicious as it looks! 🤤

Last night was a beautiful night for the start of the Benton Fireman’s Carnival 😍

We ate (too much 😅), we drank blue birch beer, we played ring toss, we listened to music as the sun set.

Reminder! The carnival runs through Saturday! The car show is from 2-4pm, and the Fireman’s Parade starts at 5pm.
