Not to mention, it’s important to pay attention to the details so all of your guests, old & new, feel relaxed and welcomed when they’re renting your property!! Needless to say, beach access was limited!

Go thrifting! Because, there’s always a treasure to be found! I can’t wait to get these things back to my home, the mirror will be a beautiful addition to my other thrifted mirrors and the dishes are perfect for fall appetizers.

There’s nothing better than a frame from a secondhand store that perfectly fits your Mr. Crab painting. A little blue spray paint and some sandpaper weathering and DONE! We were given eyebrows for a reason....now he looks complete 🦀

Some tips and tricks for rental property owners and renters🙂
I’ve owned a beach rental property for decades and have enjoyed vacation rentals even longer...
If you like to cook, like I do, make sure to aquatint yourself with the kitchen. Our property has had a George Foreman Grill, for as long as I can remember, and this was my first experience using it...what?! I was too lazy to fetch the toaster so used George to toast my French bread; which was cut on the bias for larger slices🙂I also used a large roaster to make a lovely omelette, large enough to neatly slice, to enjoy on the toast.
The takeaway-
*Think outside of the box or pan and toaster and get creative with what you’ve been provided.
*If you have a Rental, buy a George Foreman, I always see them at Goodwill, your Renters will thank you! Imagine the possibilities ☺️

It’s also fun to deep clean and freshen them up. All the imperfections are what makes this vintage painting perfect. Frame gaps and chipping paint add to the character! The only thing left is where to hang it?🙂
