Community Service - many colleges and scholarships look at how much a student is involved in their community. The Depth Project gives students openings to improve their community service hours by setting up different projects around our community. Scholarships - The Depth Project helps students complete scholarship applications and gives them several applications they may not receive from their co
unselor or the internet. College Tours - The Depth Project takes students to colleges they may not have an opportunity to visit. The Project has taken students as far as Sacramento to UC Davis, or UNR in Reno. Job Placement - Through the Depth Project, students have been able to job shadow perspective careers. They learn what it takes to do that job, and what it takes to get to that point, from people who have actually been through it. Life Skills Trainings - The Depth Project organizes trainings throughout to year to help teach students different skills they may need in life, such as how to keep a job, do the FAFSA, and manage a healthy relationship with their peers. Fun Activity - Some students may not have the means to go to different fun places such as a big movie theater, or a go cart track. The Depth Project takes them to these places so they can have a break from everything, and to experience some things they may never have before.
