The Dreams Las Mareas Resort in Guanacaste was my favorite stay in Costa Rica. Good steaks, beautiful rooms, stunning views and plenty of natural surroundings.

Can I say how much I loved this little London hotel lobby- these chairs! Perfect start with early breakfast, then the hotel hoppa back to Heathrow Airport to catch the tube for our hop on hop off tour of London.

This lovely collection of fresh fruit, meat and cheese greets travelers upon entry at Live Aqua residences in Los Cabos. It was delicious. I did not share. I had the place to myself.

First, a pre-sunrise swim in the oldest salt water pool in New Orleans, followed by breakfast at Audubon Cottage. The hostess, from Croatia, shared engaging stories of her homeland as she prepared my meal. Audubon Cottage is one of NOLA's hidden gems.

Neptune, to the left, appears to be scowling at the young David, to Neptune's left. The wind whips wild in the busy Piazza della Signoria in Florence, Italy, in front of the Palazzo Vecchio. Neptune's statue is also known as the Biancone, (the great white), due to the brilliance of its marble. I loved standing amongst these colossal figures to take these photos.

This is my favorite rock. The photos I took show the views when walking the beach of Monterosso, Cinque Terre, Italy. It's a beautiful, and exhilarating, way to immerse yourself in this ancient island. This is the largest beach in Cinque Terre.

This pesto, alla Genovese, I purchased in Cinque Terre, Italy. It recreated the best pesto lasagne I had in Santa Margarita Ligure at the Regina Elena Hotel. I always send my clients here.

UNESCO World Heritage Sites are some of the most beautiful, historic and cherished sites in the world. Here's a link to photos of 30 of the sites. One of my all time favorites is #5 on the list. I hope to return to Budapest, Hungary, as it is a remarkable destination.
