Stephen's Horns at The World Games!

Here's another fun thing that happened this summer, at the World Games in Birmingham. My friend Cynthia Simpson Chambless and I were both playing Stephen's Horns.

Stephen Shires, that Jumbotron ad must have cost a fortune!

Seriously though, Horn players! If you want to try one of these amazing horns I will have several of them in the shop here at Custom Brass very soon.

It was great to have Nathaniel Wasihun in the shop this summer to claim his prize for placing 3rd in the S. E. Shires Youth competition at the 2022 Southeast Trombone Symposium. An excellent young musician. Congrats Nate!

Patient number one in the trauma ward after ITF2021 is a Greenhoe GC4-1R-TIS. Damage was the result of a case malfunction. Happily, this instrument will live to play another day.
