The Wings over Water birding festival is celebrating its 20 year anniversary this year - March 17, 2023 – March 19, 2023 in Blaine. Check out their page -https://www.facebook.com/WingsOverWater?mibextid=LQQJ4d. Baywatch is a great place for festival attendees to stay. Bald eagles and great blue herons nest in the woods behind the property and regularly fly over on the way to the bay. A spotting scope and a great view allows birding to happen directly from the property.

Halloween at the bay. Birch Bay has a trick or treat event on the berm. The weather was decent with no rain and reasonable temperatures. A good time was had by all.

BayWatch north is a vacation property we have listed on Vacasa. It's only 2 hours from downtown Seattle but it feels like a million miles away. 400MB/S internet, a spare monitor and printer makes it ideal as a location to work from a home away from home. Hook to the 50" Samsung TV for another monitor or to stream your favorite shows. It's only 10 minutes to Beach Cat Brewery and several local restaurants in Birch Bay. Fresh oysters are just 20 minutes away in Blaine or Ferndale.

If you're a birdwatcher - there are bald eagles and great blue heron galore in the area and probably a dozen of each live in the forest just behind the property. Birch Bay state park is about 1 mile away and offers clamming and great beach walks. For the kiddos, there's a water slide park in Birch Bay and Station 49 offers GoKarts and mini-golf.
