Yesterday we hiked a new trail. 2020 has brought new meaning to the word "travel." I am still here, still taking my certification courses and keeping up with Travel Agent guidelines. I responded about the language in an answer on that post. As for the most castles per square mileage...it's Wales! They are only about the size of New Jersey, yet they boast over 600 known castles, and more than 100 are still standing. Amazing! Add Wales to my official list of "must-see's"

I just want to take a minute to thank ALL of you. I want to thank those of you who have referred me to friends/colleagues/family etc... I want to thank those of you who put your trust in me and allowed me the opportunity to book your vacation for you. I had a great year, and it's because of all of you. Most importantly, I was able to learn a lot as I had several "new" requests for vacations this year. I always love to investigate and learn more about different ways of traveling. Thanks to those who have "liked" my page, my posts, or even have gone to the effort to repost. It all means SO much to me and my business! I hope to make 2016 even better.

Another way I help? Here's a true story. A client was planning a cruise herself. She found that the room she wanted was sold out. I called the cruise line directly, gave them my travel agent ID, and was not only able to secure the room she wanted, but at a better price than she had found. You are never bound to your agent. If I can't deliver a better option, I'm ALWAYS honest! If I can, then you win. So, either way, it's a win-win to check!

Hey all. I have recently heard from friends: "What? You could've booked my hotel? I didn't know that" and "Wait, you can book Disney? I didn't know that!" I've also heard one other question a lot, and I have a great answer for it. I will be posting later to address all of these. Here's the question, "No offense, but why exactly would I use you if I can just do it myself?" put bluntly, another man once said, "Travel agent? LOLOLOL…no seriously, those still exist!!?" As I was in Phoenix, I was able to hit 3 Diners, Drive-in's and Dives in less than 24 hours. I then realized what an amazing road trip this would be! If you have been trying of think of something fun to do, close to where you live, why not give this a try? It was so fun! We all have to eat! Make a mini stay cation or vacation out of it! I get a surge of something like endorphins every time I have the opportunity to book travel for someone. I LOVE knowing that they get to "get away" and that they have something to look forward to. We ALL need a break once in a while. I booked a getaway today for a couple who hasn't been away in 7 years. What a thrill!!!!! How about you? Our family fav destination is South Haven, Michigan. It's driving distance from most midwest areas, has a beach to die for, is incredibly affordable and super quaint. I like finding the "perfect place" for each family I have the awesome opportunity to serve. What's yours? Can I help you find it?

Did you know? Certified Travel Consultants are required to earn 10 credits per year to maintain their certification. I Have earned all of mine for 2014 through continuing education sources. Some of those include Marriott, Disney, Carnival, Hilton, and Royal Caribbean. I continue to research new companies every year based on my customers wants and needs! If there is a trip you've been thinking about, or a supplier you've never used, shoot me a message or post on my board! I love finding new reasons to educate myself on new products! We are required to test on these products in order to receive our credits!
