We build custom cabinets the old fashioned way, one at a time using time honored construction methods learned over a lifetime of experience yet use advances in modern technology. Plywood construction--We use select materials to build the foundations of your cabinets, a veneer core, top quality hardwood 3/4" plywood that will ensure they remain strong for generations of use. Frame Construction--The
cabinet face frame determine how your doors and drawers fit and is crucial how the cabinets function over time. We use select hardwoods like Cherry, hard rock Maple and Oak and joinery techniques of pocket hole screw and biscuit joinery technology to ensure sturdiness for years and years of use. Door Construction--In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, cabinet doors must also be built to perform so mortise an tenon joinery is standard. Multiple styles from traditional raised panel to inset panel and Shaker are available. Drawer construction--Drawers are subject to heavy use and abuse so we make them to last for generations using dovetail joinery. All drawer sides are solid hardwood and drawer slides are heavy duty ball bearing full extension slides. Soft close slides are also available. Finishes--All staining is done by hand and we use the most durable water resistant lacquer product on the market that results in a silky smooth surface. Colored an tinted lacquers are also available for those customers who do not want natural wood clear finishes. All exterior surfaces receive at least 4 coats.
