KavaThreads was born from my love of clothing people in art... and to raise my little one in the grass. I learned a hand painting technique from a french gypsy family in the Caribbean, but my business was truly born in a Vermont valley. My designs have been inspired from the many stories I've collected, cherished, and translated into the language of art... traveling adventures, musicians, artists, are all "woven into the fabric" to create wearable canvases.

I’m back…Londonderry market today 9-1 ✨✨✨
Goodness, sorry for all those I missed last week!
After a couple years in a bubble my immune system was flexing its muscles, remembering how to work. Damn, was I and my little family sick!! It was hard to remember that there are other bugs out there other than the Rona…but there are. And will continue to be. So I say fear not, go out and shake their hand, meditate on what they are teaching..because we are going to need all the immune memories and self awareness we can to not be taken down by the little things we can’t see.
It was actually a little blessing in disguise shacked up with my darling fam.
And as you swipe right you can see my blessed healing Rx…Smiles & Art!

To MARKET, To MARKET…to see my dear loves and drape them in Art…

Oh my friends, has it been awhile…
Been on a few rollercoasters between then and now. We all have, I’m sure.
But I am still here..
And back painting.

Always an invitation for greater perspective as we race down an unknown track…we never really know the precious unspoken stories of those beside us…so do let’s be kind.
But also let’s be real, let’s use our voice for those who can’t, let’s not pretend injustice does not exist.
This morning I send my greatest prayers to women everywhere…who may not even know they have a choice, who are being conned to think that anyone in any manner shape or form may have any authority over the vessel that holds their spirit. They do not. This is your one precious life. And it is yours to write your story. Hold it dear. And never forget you hold the power. Love to all of you however you may channel that power.

Loves..as the leaves blanket the earth and the north wind has us going within and starting fires, let us not forget to express our beauty, our divine feminine.
Being a child of the North, I always dread the change of season when all my “pretty things”, my carefree-skin-revealing-sun-drenched dresses usually get packed away…and out come the sweatpants and the itchy wool sweaters. Some days those outfits are perfect with a warm cup of tea.
But this year I am promising myself to not put my feminine Self away in a box until spring.
This year I will keep my crystals from beneath my layers, I will put essential oils if not fresh flowers in my hair, and I will keep on wearing my “pretty-second-skins”.
I wore my Artemis dress on the first cool fall day with leggings, boots and my gorgeous Japanese boro patched jean jacket from , and of course my crystals. And I plan to wear this tomorrow as well for it’s the Hunters full moon…so what better way to honor than with the Divine Huntress gown! 🌕🏹🌙✨
Ladies…we can still be fabulous in every season. Please share with me how you are keeping beauty alive and rockin’ your KavaThreads in the cold, so I as well can be inspired.
And keep shining those beautiful hearts…we all need the light even more as our days get shorter!

Thank you for a wonderful last weekend to an amazing season. Thank you to all the goddesses who let me clothe you in my Art! Thank you for sharing your stories…for sharing all your smiles, your tears, your triumphs and aspirations, your challenges and fears, your dreams and so much laughter. I never knew that my little booth could be transformed into such a warm cavern of connection…that the stories behind my artwork could inspire so many of You to share your own. After such a year of “disconnection” this summer was an incredible blessing…to reconnect with old friends and also connect to the hearts of new faces. I am in awe at the power we have as people when we open our vulnerable hearts and share. You have all inspired me to continue to devote myself to decorating your “second skins”…to keep my heart open…to listen to the stories…and to share my own. I love you ALL…and know that you ALL are woven into the Art I continue to unfold. Thank you…with all my heart. See you in a few moons….
