This is fascinating! Nature is so amazing! 😀

Despite all the trees being green, the Blue Ridge Mountains maintain a distinctive blue haze. This is due to the chemical released by the native trees that scatter blue light called isoprene. Trees emit isoprene as a way to protect themselves from excessive heat.

LOVE IT! Another great review! Y'all come on up to the mountains!

"I have never stayed in a more accommodating space. I felt like this was a friend’s house instead of a rental! Everything you could possible need was there (just in case).Our kids (3-7) had the best time downstairs with all the games and also taking nature hikes around the woods of the house. Truly, every single detail was so thought out by the owner. Also, she clearly loves a label maker and being able to identify each light switch was incredibly helpful. There is nothing we would have changed. For reference, we stayed at the house almost the entire trip with 4 kids and it was comfortable space wise. Comfy blankets are everywhere, good owner communication, great towels, beautiful fireplace, kid friendly games, great cookware, the list goes on and on. Also, the smokeless fire pit was an unexpected surprise. Can’t say it enough, it was perfect!" - Morgan

"The Rest S'more mountain retreat was one of my favorite places to stay near Asheville. We usually stick with our favorite cabins and decided it would be fun to try a different one. What a pleasant surprise! I felt like I was high in the mountains due to the beautiful view out the back of the cabin without the hassle of the steep mountain drive. It was a lovely gated community with easy roads to drive with any type of vehicle you have. My three favorite things that will keep me coming back are: the attention to detail when setting up this Air B and B for guest experience and comfort, the stylish decorations, and most importantly how immaculate the house was. When it was too cold to sit outside on the porches, we could sit with the fireplace on and still see the mountains afar from the comfort of the livingroom. The house was fully stocked with everything you need. This cabin will be fun any time of the year. This is one cabin you will not be disappointed in!"
