Between us, we have two Electrical Engineering degrees and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Virginia. We specialize in r
ealizing ideas both mundane and wild, and we have the experience necessary to make any idea a reality. Between the two of us, we have a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate Certificate, a dual extruder 3-D printer for rapid prototyping, electronics equipment necessary for rapidly developing circuit boards, and electrical and mechanical CAD software. Our skills span across many disciplines, ranging from computer programing to machine design. We are both proficient in Java, Python, and particularly C. We additionally have vast microcontroller experience: Raspberry Pi, Arduino, TI MSP430, ARM devices, etc. We have designed and realized mechatronics projects large and small: both programming machines that scan the gamma radiation inside boiling water nuclear reactors or fabricating a game of snake from scratch using common components and a few dozen LED's. We have spent a lot of time (way too much) repairing electronics, sound equipment, and electro-mechanical devices. Additionally we have experience in soldering, lab electronic equipment use, and electric guitar design-- hand-tuning a SOLIDWORKS model so that the finished CNC machined guitar resonates perfectly at G. (It's really fun to play your own design after spending countless hours looking at a model on a computer screen.) Your ideas are safe with us.
