Through free yoga classes and childcare, moms enjoy the physical and emotional benefits of yoga without financial and childcare restraints Yoga for Single Moms is a visionary project that provides single-parents with wellness experiences for the body and mind. Through free yoga classes, along with simultaneous (but separate) childcare, moms enjoy the physical and emotional benefits of yoga without
financial or childcare constraints. In the meantime, kids enjoy a fun place to explore, create, play, and learn, through yoga. Yoga comes in many forms and styles; however, they all have one thing in common: the ability to combat the stress of being a single mother. Our mission is to provide valuable information and instruction for using yoga as a mind/body resource along the path of single motherhood. We partner with yoga spaces across the country to offer affordable and accessible classes and workshops that work for moms and kids. Three powerful, independent, and creative women founded the Yoga for Single Moms Project, with the goal of providing single moms a sanctuary through yoga. Bonnie, Chanel, and Michelle are so grateful for your interest in this program and hope to see you in a yoga class soon! Chanel Luck and Bonnie Argo are Boston-based yoga teachers with several years of experience leading classes, trainings, and retreats. Michelle is a single mom from New York who has long appreciated the benefits of yoga in keeping her grounded and calm. Together, they conceived the idea of strengthening communities across the country by supporting the well-being of its single moms with yoga.
