We checked into the beautiful to kick off our trip to explore before heading to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Despite having visited Cape Town before, we choose to hire a private tour guide to bring us around. More to come on this tomorrow! Many clients choose to visit Cape Town on the back-end of their trip, but I actually prefer to do it the opposite way. It’s much easier to take it easy on the Cape Town portion than on the safari portion due to the early morning wake up calls!

Finally got a chance to check out Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts! 🎨 This Festival only runs from January-February, so it’s a very short window unlike the other festivals which run for several months. So many tasty themed treats, talented performers, and beautiful art to check out including amazing sidewalk chalk art! Have you been to the International Festival of the Arts?

Checked in Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter last night for the first part of my trip! Port Orleans French Quarter is one of the moderate hotels on property. Here’s a tour of my Garden View room. The great part about this hotel is how quaint it is compared to other hotels on properties. No matter what building you are located in, it’s only a short walk to dining, shopping, laundry facilities, and transportation!

Tonight I gave the Sunshine Flyer a try from the Orlando airport to my Disney Resort as several clients have been asking me about it. 🚂 This is a much more affordable transportation option than taking a ride share or private car service! At the northernmost point of Nantucket out past Wauwinet, within the Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Reserve, you’ll find the most powerful light in New England! The Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Reserve is only accessible via a four wheel drive vehicle but is well worth the trip if you’re visiting Nantucket. Just make sure to lower your tires to 12-15 PSI. Our afternoon was spent enjoying the beach, eating sandwiches from Provisions, and watching the seals. Have you ever been to Great Point?

I started the day off today with an early morning wake up to snag a Rise of the Resistance Boarding group. My return time was 360 minutes, so I headed to the park around 11 am. I road a few rides, did some people watching, rode ROTR, and then ended the afternoon eating lunch at Docking Bay 7. I’d say it was a successful afternoon at Hollywood Studios!
