Bloodworks Bio published a new poster at the 2024 ISCT, International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy Annual Meeting that features our biopreservation media, CryoStor®.

The study is a comparison of the clinical outcomes when using autologous HPCs (hematopoietic progenitor cells) cryopreserved in “home-brew” freeze media versus commercial freeze media (CryoStor CS10).

The results show slightly faster platelet recovery, fewer platelet transfusions and initial ANC recovery trended positively when using CryoStor CS10.

Congratulations to Bristol Myers Squibb on the expanded FDA approval of their CAR-T cell therapy, Breyanzi®, to treat relapsed or refractory Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL).

Breyanzi is the only FDA approved CAR-T cell therapy available for four specific subtypes of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. This expanded approval allows Breyanzi to treat the broadest types of B-cell malignancies.
