This is one of the many reasons to use a Travel Advisor. This client had an issue with the spacing on her passport while trying to check into her flight tonight. I contacted the airline and quickly fixed it so she could check in for her flight tomorrow morning and enjoy her vacation……STRESS FREE!

🚨Travel Protection is ESSENTIAL! Let me tell you why.......

📱A client texted me early this morning to let me know that their flight for their honeymoon was cancelled and they the soonest the airline could get them to their destination was tomorrow.

📞As soon as I saw the text I jumped into action. I called the airline to make sure there was no way to get them on an earlier flight. 🛫There wasn't, so I called the vendor who said they would contact the resort to let them know the clients would not be checking in until tomorrow. 🏝️I then contacted the resort myself to verify they had the information and there would be no issues at check in tomorrow. 🛥️I contacted their boat transfers (that's right- I reserved them boat transfers to their resort to avoid a 2-hour curvy, mountainous drive in St. Lucia where they can enjoy a drink while taking in the beauty on a 30-minute cruise to their resort) and gave them their new flight information.

💵Lastly, I filed a claim with their travel insurance for the night lost because of the airline issue. They will now be reimbursed for the night.

😵‍💫Can you imagine having to handle all of that on your own right after your wedding when you're already bummed that your honeymoon is delayed? If they didn't have the travel protection, they would be out of luck for the night they missed.

💁🏻‍♀️Use the travel agent. In the event that something happens, and let's face it- travel is very unpredictable, I will take care of everything that I can, so you don't have to stress.
