Finally made it to Portugal with Globus travel with my friend Stacy. Having a fantastic time. We started in Lisbon for the first 2 days and have been heading north. We went to the palace of Queluz, the Atlantic coast of Portugal, the city of Cascais and Cape Roca, the furthest west you can go in Europe. Stopped by Obidos, Alcobaca, Fatima, Nazera and Tomas. We visited a Fortress in Tomar which inspired JK Rowling, Harry Potter, since she lived in Portugal for a short time. Just got to Porto yesterday but it is rained most of the day but still managed to go on a boat cruise in the Douro River after the rain stopped. I absolutely love Portugal. Meeting so many great people too! Still have 3 more days! 😄

Took a flight yesterday from SFO for the first time in a VERY long time. From what others have told me the airports are really crowded and the planes packed. Well my plane was packed but I was so surprised the the airport was empty. Not sure where all the people were!
