These Diaper bags are so Cute 🤗 I Seriously wish I had one with both my girl's. This bag is affordable, and they have cute styles. Also looks super easy to haul around. I don't know about you, but I have the hardest time carrying around huge shoulder bags, especially when it's a diaper bag. "Haha"😉

To be swaddled and held by our mothers is to find peace and protection wherever we are. Today I give thanks to all the women who have embraced us throughout our lives. Wopila tanka!

Breastfeed away, ladies!
..A nursing mother in an Oklahoma Walmart was shamed by the store's manager because she was feeding her child in their store. He asked her to cover up and leave. Embarrassed and angry, she told her friends, and they told theirs. Soon enough over 30 nursing moms showed up to that very Walmart to exercise their legal right to feed their child in a public place. They called it a "nurse-in", and passed out pamphlets educating shoppers and employees about their right to feed a hungry infant. Kudos to these moms for standing up for their rights! -KP

Women on Medicaid who give birth with the support of a trained doula are 40 percent less likely to have a C-section than counterparts who have their babies without that support.

Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah! The holidays often are a time for families to come together. When there's a new baby involved, the occasion is even more joyous. Relatives may not realize how often a baby needs to nurse, so make sure to tell them about your baby's feeding cues so when the rooting starts, they can get baby to mama!

Would you ever nurse someone else’s baby? What if the life of that child rested on your decision? Maria Kristensen, a 25-year-old mom-to-be from Denmark was faced with this decision recently when she, her husband and three-year-old son Lucas were on their way to the airport in Turkey.

"The newborn baby has only three demands. They are warmth in the arms of [his] mother, food from her breasts, and security in the knowledge of her presence. Breastfeeding satisfies all three." --Grantly Dick- Read, MD, from Childbirth Without Fear, 1955
