*What is a Doula*
A Doula is a Man or Women who will attend a mothers birth before, during and after the baby is born. In Ancient Greek the word Doula means female servant. I'm here to give Prenatal, labor and postpartum support, I will provide Emotional and physical support. A Birth & Labor Doula's practice is non medical, I will NOT give any kind of medical advice. I'm here to Support Mother
and Family. I can help with Birth plans, relaxation, visualization, labor positions and breathing skills that will be useful during labor. Postpartum Doula will provide physical, emotional, and spiritual, support and guidance to a new mother. I will provide informative information on breastfeeding, first days at home with newborn, showing Mom's how to survive through the first 3 months, answering all questions you have for handling a Newborn. Having a Doula by your side can have long-term benefits such as:
