3 nights at Universal, 1 day park to park tickets, and tickets to Halloween Horror Nights with an Express Pass, and 1 day tickets to Epcot. Sounds like a pretty great weekend getaway, right? 😍

But then the unexpected happens. An impending hurricane. My clients could have booked this trip themselves. But instead, they booked with me and as their travel agent I spent almost 2 hours on the phone on a Monday night calling Universal to take care of getting my clients a refund on their Universal portion of their trip as they unfortunately had to cancel their weekend trip 😔

How did I manage to get them a full refund? Well, as their travel agent I advised them to book their vacation with trip insurance JUST IN CASE something like this were to happen.

I got off the phone a little before 10:00. I had to be transferred to two different departments to get all aspects of the trip taken care of. My clients were awake but at work (god bless nurses) and I was able to update them of the news of their trip.

Sure, you can do it yourself.... or you could book with a travel agent for no additional charge. Seems like a no brainer to me ✨
