Sand, sand, and more sand today to get the area raised up to prepare for the new leach field install next week.

This project has been complex with a very high ground water table and bedrock not far underground, but luckily with a professional engineer always on site as the owner and operator of De Jong Excavation, we can adjust plans accordingly to fit the needs of the property!

New week, new project... and this one is a larger scale project! Providing this home in Galway with more capacity for their septic system. More photos and progress reports to come.

Project completed! Additional laterals added to the leach field and the foundation drain was diverted around the new leach field. Then the project area was restored and screened with a Rock Hound attachment, hand raked, seeded and mulched. The homeowners will have new grass in no time! Now, onto the next project!

It started with a site survey last week, then the Engineering (with Makron Engineering)... one day of tree clearing and site prep, one day to install the pipe and stone, and today we restored the project area! A new leach field for two wonderful homeowners in the Town of Benson.

Wow, it's been a busy summer! Another project that's been ongoing is a pump station and new leach field in Galway. This project involved bringing in a lot of sand to install the field in a raised area. We'll post photos of the restoration when we're all done.

A multi-day project in the town of Bleecker. First step was to clear the area for an upcoming home build. Next was grading and leveling. Today we are working on installing a rural driveway. More photos to come when the job is completed!

Final day on this beautiful property at Galway Lake. Company owner Mark de Jong is starting to clean up the project area. A little more to do before we rake and lay down the grass seed and mulch...then it's on to the next project!

Digging the trench for the UV component and distribution box.

Made great progress today. This is a project that requires a lot of prep work but once that advanced work is done, it makes the actual job go so much more smoothly. We took down some trees to make way for the new septic field, demoed the old tank, got the brand new ATU tank installed, stabilized it with pea gravel fill and connected the plumbing. We will pick this project up again next week... have a nice weekend!

The Rock Hound attachment is a great tool and helps to makes short work of restoration. Creates a smooth finish and an almost hand-raked effect... now, ready for grass seed application!
