Our goal to breathe new life into the idea of a “home movie” by weaving together professionally shot interviews and candid footage of your family, adding a la carte features such as old photos and smartphone videos, and create a thoughtful and carefully crafted final film: A modern-day family heirloom. Little Darling Productions is the vision of Elyse Neiman Seiter, an Emmy-award winning TV producer and filmmaker. Elyse has 12 years of professional experience in television production from soup to nuts– Casting, shooting, producing, supervising, and post-producing documentary, doc-reality, and food competition series for various New York production companies and TV networks including MTV, TLC, HGTV, Style, Travel Channel, and Food Network. She won an Emmy for her work on MTV’s documentary series, “True Life” in 2009, a day after her daughter was born. Her appreciation and passion for documenting family life comes from her dad, who filmed everyday moments in her and her sister’s lives during their childhood growing up in New York City. The deep warm feeling of nostalgia is what Elyse sets out to evoke in each of her films.
