What I LOVED about this resort is that it was within walking distance to so many stores, restaurants, and even the marina! AND many people will not realize this, but all of the beautiful beaches you see in pictures on these resort pages ARE NOT SWIMMABLE. Cabos has some really step drop-offs and strong waves and undercurrents...BUT this resort is right there on a very beautiful beach for lounging and swimming! This is why you plan with a travel agent that is in the know! Let's plan! Let's see if this resort would be a good fit for your trip to Cabo!

🏰 Shop til you drop at Disney Springs....and oh, my, don't forget the dining options there!
🏰Resort hop! Check out the other resorts....great way to do that is ride the monorail, the skyliner, or the ferries to other resorts....and, of course, the Disney buses go everywhere too!
🏰What time of year to visit Disney? Well, are you tied to school holidays? Are you a freewilling homeschooler? Are you retired? There are festivals galore and the decorations change with seasons....after-hours and special parties abound as well!

At the end of the day, do you opt for quiet, cool ambiance or the lively refreshment of a character experience? We love both of these choices....the view from San Angel Inn is just so amazing (you are INSIDE a building....what???)...BUT POOH and Piglet are fun too! Which have you done? Which can we plan for your Disney visit?

Disney World Water!!!!

One of the very best things about staying on Disney property is the convenience of never getting in your car for anything....but also, the ease of taking a break in the middle of the day to go back and enjoy the amenities of your resort! We love the water; the pools (multiple at the resorts) are just amazing! In addition to the pools, which are not only tailored to fit the ambiance of your resort, but many of them have great water features--slides, sprinklers, waterfalls, and more.

Now, if a pool is not enough for you, Disney World has NOT ONE...BUT TWO amazing water parks! Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach offer more slides, rivers, and adventures than you can imagine...so, if you have the time and JUST NEED that water park day, adding the water parks to your park admission is a great option! Each park not only features water, but also some great restaurants, and even shopping if you need a souvenir from your water park day! Your travel advisor will know how to help you plan the best trip!

Tough choice! Both of these are excellent ways to take a break, see the sights, or even resort/park hop! Ask you travel agent (that is me!) when you book if you would like to be on the monorail loop or the skyliner loop! Of course, Disney transportation is available at every Disney resort, each one is unique....buses, ferry, monorail, skyliner, and more!

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a compact park that packs a HUGE punch! There are just too many things we love about this park to list! Now, I am a huge Star Wars fan....so, well, there ya go. This park has all things Star Wars; the Force is strong here. Again, character meets EVERYWHERE! If you have a favorite Disney movie, you can find something to love about this park...from Indiana Jones to Kylo Ren, they have it all here. One of our favorite interactions was with Stitch here on one of our visits....the most animated, relaxed character meet ever! We also LOVE the buffet/character meet at Hollywood & Vine.

Experience the Tower of Terror or watch a show! They are refurbishing the Rock'n'Roller Coaster to make it an even better experience! The Beauty and the Beast show is always a favorite for us...great way to relax and cool off! Be sure to visit Toy Story Land and ride that Slinky Dog Dash coaster! So fun! Dine in amazing restaurants like the Hollywood Brown Derby or our favorite, Mama Melroses's Ristorante Italiano. What else can your travel agent tell you about Disney's Hollywood Studios! I will be home...working!! We are not in the "total" eclipse are...but hope to see a partial at least!

After selling out its first path-of-totality flight, Delta is adding a second flight, which will depart from Dallas-Fort Worth and arrive in Detroit together with the other path-of-totality flight.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can get into their feels with Joy herself! She’s headed to Pixar Plaza starting June 10, where she joins other Pixar stars. She’ll be in her new home just in time for Disney Pixar’s “Inside Out 2,” which premieres in theaters June 14.

While guests are visiting Pixar Plaza, they can make some other core memories with a cute new space to snap selfies. Of course, Pixar Plaza is home to all kinds of ways to celebrate the incredible stories of Pixar – from character greetings to delicious snacks and sips to merchandise.
