Author and Illustrator for Little Roni Publishers As a child, Ridley was labeled as the kid with too much energy. As a result, her imagination went wild.

Desperately, she did her best to conform to the ways of the world. Later, she began to realize she had to be herself. There’s no telling where her mind will take her–and you-next. Ridley has three daughters: Amy, Holly and Stephanie, and a granddaughter, Jade. She and her husband, Royce, live in rural Mississippi with four chickens, three dogs, pot-bellied pig, and miniature horse.

KF Ridley is the author of "The Curse of Yama," the first in a five-book series called The C. Walker Adventures. "The Curse of Yama" follows 12-year-old Chloe Walker as she adventures into the wilds of India seeking an ancient seed to cure her father from a deadly illness. Ridley is hard at work on her next novel, a young adult romance-fantasy in the vein of "Twilight" and "Lord of the Rings." "Dirt" will be the first in a trilogy.
