It’s never too late (or too early depending on what kind of person you are) to start thinking about Spring Break. There’s a lot of interesting places to take your kids for a week this spring. While I love all the theme parks, I understand they’re not for everyone, so keep reading if your more of a National Parks person.

Mammoth Cave National Park!!

If you’re looking to do something a little different for Spring Break, try spending some of it underground. This Park wasn’t at the top of my list if I’m being honest, but I was completely blown away by the caves. They offer a lot of different tours for a lot of different interests (from a more historical focus to more adventurous tours) and it’s not too far from Nashville so you can make it a combo trip.

Just Booked!!
So excited to have booked a Walt Disney World package for some friends for a long weekend at All-Star Sports! The All-Star resorts are great if you are on a budget and your spending all your time at the parks. I love staying in the Deluxe Resorts, but we often stay at the more budget resorts because we just don’t spend much time in our room except to sleep. Plus they’re being refurbished and are going to look great when they are done!

Want to go to Disney while you're pregnant?? It’s possible!!
In the picture above I was going into my second trimester with a ton of morning sickness still (that stayed until well into the third trimester ) and I still had a blast! Whether you want to take your older kids while pregnant or want to go one last time before toting kids along, I want to encourage you that it is possible and leave you with a few tips to make the most of it:

-Bring Snacks! This is my most important tip, you already need all those extra calories and walking around Disney for hours doesn’t help.
-Comfy shoes! I LOVE to look cute in the parks, but comfort was key for my visit while pregnant.
-Take breaks! Breaks are encouraged even when you're not pregnant, but growing a human is exhausting so sit when you need to and take a nap in your room if you need to.
-Know your bathrooms! I had to go all the time, so knowing where your bathrooms are is key. You can use your My Disney Experience app to find the nearest bathroom and it will give you walking directions from where you are.

Black Friday Deal Number Two!
You don’t have to go anywhere crazy to get out there. Just a long weekend in one of your favorite cities can do the trick. Chicago can be a blast even when it’s a bit colder out! There’s plenty of indoor activities:
-The museums (the Field museum or the Art Institute)
-The Shedd Aquarium
- A conservatory such as the Garfield Park or Lincoln Park conservatory.
-Grab a coffee or drink. We love kibbitznest books, brews & blarney for a fun evening.

Or you can check out the seasonal Christkindlmarket which has around 1 Million visitors every year!

Dreaming of Nashville 😍🎸🎶
Loved going to the Country Music Hall of Fame a couple of years ago. Doing the Hatch Show Print tour was incredible and I recommend it to everyone if your even mildly interested in music or prints. You even get to press your own print and take it home!

Did you know that you can go fishing in Disney World?
Multiple resorts offer catch and release fishing excursions from their marinas around Walt Disney World.
You can choose from Guided Bass Fishing Excursions, which includes a 21-foot Sun Tracker pontoon boat that can accommodate up to 5 Guests, and a tournament-style NITRO® bass fishing boat for up to 3 Guests. The excursion includes an experienced guide and the equipment you’ll need for fishing.
There is also dockside fishing available at Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground with equipment available for rental.
And don’t worry, you don’t need to be staying at the resort to book an excursion.

Warmer weather in Michigan this weekend has got me thinking about water and beaches. Luckily, it’s almost always beach weather at Volcano Bay. This waterpark easily became my absolute FAVORITE on the first visit.
My biggest tip for getting the most out of your day at Volcano Bay is staying on Universal property and taking advantage of early entry. We were able to ride some of the bigger attractions like Krakatau Aqua Coaster twice in a row.

Hello!! My name is Lindsey and I am excited to begin my journey as a travel agent for Travelmation. Here’s a little bit about me and how I got here:
-Grew up in South Carolina visiting Disney World, the east coast, and the Appalachian mountains
-Did two semesters with the Disney College Program
-Worked a year as a camp counselor and intern in Michigan where I fell in love with ropes courses and zip lines (also fell in love with my now husband!)
- Went BACK to Orlando and worked as a Universal Team Member and Disney Cast Member.
