Our favorite time of year is just around the corner! We are always so excited for our Trolley season. People are already starting to think ahead and reservations are starting to fill up. We ask the community to remember to use common sense when interacting with horses. Although our horses have seen it all, please watch your speeding around Indian Creek Plaza because nobody wants a 2,000 pound horse going through their windshield and neither do we. Our horses love being rewarded for the hard work that they do and we do allow you to pet them. Just remember that horses see the world much differently then humans do. When approaching a horses always ask first so that somebody can assist you and make sure you come from the front so they can see you. Lifting your little ones up to pet them will keep them from being stepped on. And never run towards a horse because they are prey animals and fast movements make you seem more like a predator then a friend. We are so excited to share this holiday season with you once again. And with the communities cooperation we can have another safe and wonderful year. Please share this with your family and friends to help them understand proper horse etiquette. Tomorrow Idaho Outfitters will be in the Emmett cherry festival parade with two of our teams and wagons, that have given so many people in the Treasure Valley rides at Christmas time at Indian Creek in Caldwell. We will not be running tonight due to the weather. We want to thank everyone for giving us such a wonderful season this year and we hope to see everyone next year! We are ao thankful that we had a safe year with no accidents and healthy horses. The fun doesnt have to end here. We will be offering horse lessons and trail rides, as well as other special events! We had the opportunity to go caroling on Christmas Eve with some of our closest friends. It was so fun and heartwarming to see these people with the biggest smiles on their faces. It's just a reminder to us and hopefully everyone else that we should be Christlike all of the time to those around us and not just when Christmas roles around. This is something that the Child family will be working on this year and we invite all to participate!

Christmas is just around the corner and we are all so excited! If you are doing some last minutes Christmas shopping, we offer riding lessons, clinics, and trail rides for ages 8 and up. Many of you have asked where Pretty Boy is at this year. Recently he has been diagnosed with cancer in his left cheek bone and it has moved up near his eye making it impossible for him to see due to the swelling. Pretty Boy has been bringing joy to many people over the years as he has assisted us during our Christmas light tours at Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell. He is the father to many of our horses and several others across the valley. The University of Washington's vet school thinks that he may be a good candidate for radiation. This is the best chance we've been given to save his life. We ask anyone that would like to be involved in trying to save his life to please consider donating to this cause. He will be required to have a two week hospital stay at the university. We need to reach between $7k-$10k for his treatments by January 20th. If you are unable to participate financially, your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration.
