I'm not a big drinker so I chose to purchase the Refreshment package on the Utopia of the Seas - was it worth it!?!?!?

That's always the million dollar question.

We sailed for four nights. I had five coffees and maybe five non-alcoholic drinks and one diet coke the entire sailing so at $120 for the package, I definitely lost money. I did purchase a few alcoholic beverages at about $17/each because there's something about an Apple Pie Old Fashioned that just hits right on a cruise ship.

Next time I'll opt out, still get what I want and surely come out ahead.

I think I will do a live on this at some point because this is always one of the most discussed purchases for a cruise!

🎉Congratulations to the *L* Family - who just booked their 2026 summer vacation on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas. They will be setting sail from Ravenna, Italy and visiting four ports of call in the Eastern Mediterranean - Kotor (Montenegro), Athens, Santorini and Zadar (Croatia).
🚢 Whether they choose to hike up the Fortifications of Kotor, immerse themselves in the grandeur of the Acropolis, be awed by the world’s only Sea Organ - listening to the waves create whistling melodies through a series of underwater pipes, or wander the cobblestone streets of Fira, which is lined with whitewashed houses, museums, galleries - this once in a lifetime vacation will be filled with history, culture, cuisine, architecture, and natural beauty!

On our way home from the airport last night, the odometer in the car rolled to 100,000 miles - which had me thinking, that’s a lot of adventures in this mom mini van! My kids have basically grown up in this car - geez, I’m a sap!

At that moment I remembered our very first adventure in our van, a drive to Walt Disney World with a stop in Atlanta for Wayne’s job. That was in 2016, not long after I signed on to be a travel agent with DDT. I quickly searched my FB account to find the photo.

Then I realized, that I had everyone “trapped” in the car with me, and forced them to recreate the photo when we pulled into the driveway. Here we are, almost nine years later, still taking adventures together.

What an amazing time we just had on the Utopia of the Seas! 🚢

Time flies. Don’t wait. I mean, look at those babies then and 100,000 miles later.......

In 2025, set out on an adventure and make the memories! 🧳 🚙 ✈️

It’s kinda crazy that cookies and coffee cost *almost* as much as my clearance LP Disney clothing.
*Pro Tip: Lily will ship your purchase home for FREE. I chose to jam my Sherpa in my carry on so I have it for the craptastic weather I will encounter later today when we land in Pittsburgh.
