It was all my pleasure to do an additional little photo session for the GiGi's Playhouse Canton 's photo wall! I dare you to not smile when you see these faces. AND, pictured in the lower right is Gigi herself! I just loved my time with these beautiful souls. While the little ones (previously photographed and posted) are just OH SO CUTE, it's the teens and adults with special abilities that are MY HEART. I love love love them and see SO MUCH potential, tenacity, grit, beauty and LIGHT. Every day I get to spend with them, I am humbled and I learn SO MUCH. Anyway, I could talk all day.... I'll stop. Just look at 'em!

I feel like 100% of my friends already know these faces without a little introductory caption (maybe that is a BIT of a stretch, ha ha!) BUT these folks at Salon 3 ARE a very popular crew, and for good reason!

All of these stylists are warm, creative, cheerful, professional, FUN and just OH SO GREAT at their jobs! I always leave the salon feeling more beautiful, relaxed and known.

It was such a pleasure to take photos of them doin' their thang! And if you need a stylist or a new look, do yourself a favor and check them out! (Salon3 )

It is World Down Syndrome Day! So, of course, it is the PERFECT day to showcase images of these beautiful humans I had the privilege to photograph. Their faces will be gracing the "photo wall" of the GiGi's Playhouse Canton coming in April!!!

What is Gigi's Playhouse you may ask? Well, let me tell you a little bit about these wonderful facilities! Gigi's is a "Down Syndrome Achievement Center" started by a mom inspired by her daughter, Gigi. They offer educational, therapeutic and career training programs, all for FREE to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. They have purposeful programming to teach literacy and math and to develop fine and gross motor skills. There's really so much more! Gigi's Playhouses really are SUCH a wealth of resources for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. I encourage you to visit their website (and watch the videos!) to learn all they have to offer.

Two more things:

1. The Gigi's Playhouse in Canton is scheduled to open at the end of April and they are seeking to hire a "site coordinator". If you feel this is something you would love to do, check out their website for more info. (https://gigisplayhouse.org/canton/program-overview/)

2. Gigi's PLayhouses are predominately VOLUNTEER run. So, if you feel like you'd like to give of your time (you will be thoroughly trained) to serve and love on this beautiful population of individuals, I would again encourage you to visit the website to find out how you can get involved. I'm SURE you won't regret it!

Such an honor to photograph the love of Mike + Kristin. These two are such a dynamic and inspiring couple. The way they bring the kingdom of Jesus to earth its truly inspiring and challenging. This year, I've been so blessed to work under Kristin as her assistant. The way she loves on, advocates for, educates, challenges, speaks life into and lives alongside those with disabilities is something I admire and seek to emulate. She has taught me much and I am ever so thankful. The least I could do was take her pictures!

I just wanted to take a FB moment to thank everyone for their love and support as We Love Your Love Photography has taken a little hiatus as I started full time work on another venture. I also wanted to make a little "FYI Announcement".....While, yes, I decided to not book any more sessions for the 2017 season, I WILL be booking a VERY LIMITED amount of sessions in 2018. A few slots have already filled. SO, if you'd like to get a photo shoot in the books for 2018, get in touch ASAP! You all knew I couldn't stay away for TOO long! :P (P.S. I'm also entertaining the idea of Mini Sessions for the Spring and/or Fall of 2018 if enough interest is generated. Just throwing that out there. ;) )

Um, how amazingly beautiful and cool is my niece!? I am SO PROUD of the crazy cool and talented young lady she is becoming. Whenever I look at this image of Caroline, I can't help but start singing, '"sweet Caroline... bah bah bah".
It was all MY joy to photograph this sweet girl as she embarks on her senior year. Caroline is full of life, smiles, energy and a mind all her own. Her mama was a bit concerned that we wouldn't capture the "real Caroline" during her session, as sometimes Caroline can tend to clam up in front of the camera (don't we all), but I'd say we got her here.... just look at that sweet smile and that twinkle in her eye.

Last night I was honored to photograph the "Love, Hope, Cure" event.... this second annual event is put on by the Elise's Corner Foundation, set up by the Bonksy family, in honor of our girl, Elise. "Elise's Corner" exists to raise awareness and find a cure for Alexander Disease. Last night was just an incredible, beautiful event. Over 400 people showed up to pour out their love and support for the Bonsky family, and to stand in Elise's corner to fight against Alexander Disease.... the Bonsky's efforts raised over $100,000 last night!!!! THANK YOU to all the people who made this happen.... I am in awe. Because of the Bonksy family and Elise's Corner, REAL strides have been made towards finding a cure in just the past two years. My heart is encouraged. And until the day treatment (and a cure!) is found, we continue to stand in your corner Elise.... we love you!
