We are up to over 70 juniors with many of the top athletes in the state competing on teams or as solo racers. Registration is open until 5 pm on Friday November 22nd for those that want to join in on the fun!

Looks like nice weather heading into this weekend's Blankets Creek 3 and 6 Hour Race. A bit chilly in the morning, but perfect racing conditions by noon. You can register until this Friday at 5 pm. We have a nice turnout including over 60 junior racers. We are planning to mark the course Friday morning, so it should be ready for pre-ride by noon. If you are getting out to pre-ride this week, the course direction is CLOCKWISE, so you will need to ride on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. We're looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend for our final event of 2024!

I’m a female race director….of course I’m going to put up unnecessary decorations so my race venue looks cute 😃. The Rope Mill trails are all marked and leaf-blown. Everything is dry and it’s supposed to be 65 degrees tomorrow morning - looks like a great weekend for racing!

Optional Early Packet Pickup for the Rope Mill Duathlon is tonight (Thursday) from 4 to 6 pm at Out Spokin' Bicycles - Canton, GA!
If you are picking up for friends/family members, make sure you bring a waiver signed by them, as a signed waiver is required for pickup. Teams do not have to check in together - we can check each person in individually.

Everyone's favorite coffee will be at this weekend's Rope Mill Dirty Duathlon! You can find Martha’s Outpost in the parking lot to the left as you enter Rope Mill Park for those that need a pick-me-up before the event starts.

Right now the weather forecast for the Rope Mill Dirty Duathlon is looking good and this will be the warmest one we've ever had with 65 degree temps at race start. The trees are popping with fall colors along the Explorer Trail as well. We're looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday morning! All you weather-watchers have until Thursday at 5 pm to get signed up.

For those participating in the Rope Mill Duathlon or Trail Run this Saturday, we will have our HAMMER NUTRITION aid station set up along the run course so you won't need to carry anything with you for the run portion of the event. The aid station will have Hammer Gels, Hammer HEED, Endurolytes, and water available. Runners will pass by the aid station at roughly mile 1 and 2 on the run course. Thank you HAMMER NUTRITION for keeping our participants fueled!

We are up to 65 juniors signed up for this Saturday's Rope Mill Duathlon and Trail Run!! We love the energy these kids bring to our events and we expect to see a lot of them on the podium! Registration is open until Thursday November 7th at 5 pm and we still have room for more participants for those who'd like to come join us. This is 5.5 mile bike, 3.3 mile run, 5.5 mile bike format and we have solo, two and three person team categories. MTB'ers can team up with a runner friend or we also have a three person family/beginner division where each participant does one leg of the event. All participants receive a shirt and free race photo downloads, as well as post race snacks. Prizes and medals awarded to the top 3 in each duathlon category, medals to the top 3 runners in each age group in the trail run.

We are always excited to have Dashing Images out at our bike events. Not only are they friends and a local small business, but they capture some great shots of the action. Our swag item for this year's Rope Mill Duathlon is FREE PHOTO DOWNLOADS for all participants! We hope you all enjoy the photos and that they are able to capture some great shots of you or your team on course!

PAST EVENT SHIRTS - FREE!!! at the Rope Mill Duathlon and Trail Run!!! We have a bin of leftover race shirts that we usually fire sale, however I REALLY want to clean out my garage for the winter to make room for more bikes, so we're just giving these away!! Stop by the pavilion in the morning or after you race and take whatever you'd like!

We have almost 50 junior athletes signed up for the upcoming Rope Mill Duathlon and 3.3 Mile Trail Run! This is a fun family event as we have 2 person Junior divisions, a 2 person Parent/Child division, and a 3 person Family division! We also have some of our fastest junior athletes representing in the 2 person expert divisions so there is a place for all! Join us November 9th as we roll into fall riding season. Right now the weather looks great for racing!

Rope Mill Dirty Duathlon Wave 1 start from 2015. Its hard to believe that this will be the 15th Edition of the Rope Mill Dirty Duathlon!

Definitely put Devil’s Den State Park on your to-ride list if you are in Northwest Arkansas. This is a worthwhile stop on the way to Bentonville.

We have optional early packet pickups for this weekend’s Blankets Creek run/bike races on Thursday night from 4-7 pm. The bike race packet pickup will be at Out Spokin' Bicycles - Canton, GA and the running race packet pickup will be at the new Fleet Feet Canton, GA! We have some coffee mugs from last year that we will be offering up until they are gone at tonight’s packet pickups!

Dropping into race week again…Who wants to ride the Big Frog 65 or Cohutta 100 on April 23rd, fully supported at a casual pace? We are looking for a rider sweep for each race. All you have to do is ride and stay behind the last racer - no course marking removal is required. I also have a couple of comped entries remaining for those who can bring an aid station volunteer or course marshal for a 6 hour shift on Saturday.
