And the cycle begins. In March/April the canals start to come alive. Vegetation begins to grow, small fish and manatees come to eat, enticing larger fish and so on. It's the best time for fishermen to visit!

Dock repaired and ready for business!

Yesterday it rained all morning so after we decided to check out Manatee Park. The viewing areas are thin and much of parking was in the mud. We did see several manatees from afar, so for $2 it was worth it. If you go, go in the morning and preferably when cloudy. Afternoon sun reflection was brutal and made it hard to see. Kayakers had a much better view.
