Disney Genie will launch on OCTOBER 19 at the Walt Disney World Resort! Read more about how this will allow more flexibility to create YOUR best Disney Day!

Available for all guests in the My Disney Experience app, the complimentary Disney Genie service offers new features that let you create a plan real-time that fits your family’s best needs. These features are determined by the things you tell Genie you are most interested in!

With this launch, Disney will also be introducing the Lightning Lane entrance. Available for purchase through Disney Genie+ you will have two choices:

Choice 1: Pay $15 per person, per day to book/reserve one ride at a time, throughout the entire day

Choice 2: Pay individually, “a la carte” for some of the most highly demanded attractions

Either way you choose to use the new Genie service, you will save time waiting in line.

I have attached a picture to give you a first look at the list of current attractions with Lightning Lane entrances.

Don’t worry if all this sounds overwhelming to you! I am so excited for the added flexibility this will give YOU, the clients. I am here to help you understand and make the most of your Disney trip!

This all-new spectacular inspires everyone to believe in magic, with captivating Disney music, enhanced lighting, immersive projection effects that extend for the first time down Main Street, U.S.A., and an emotional original song, entitled “You Are the Magic.”

The Disney Parks update everyone has been waiting for! What about FastPasses??

Walt Disney World and Disneyland will be retiring the FASTPASS, FastPass+ and Disney MaxPass services BUT we are incredibly excited to announce the release of Disney Genie and the Disney Genie+ service!

Coming this fall to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, Disney Genie is a complimentary app designed to create your best Disney day and maximize your park time, so you can have more fun!

Here are a few features:

💫 Find Your Favorites at a Glance: Display current AND forecasted future wait times, helping you predict when you might experience quicker entry to attractions.

💫 Enjoy More Flexibility and Fun: Join a virtual queue at certain attractions, make dining and experience reservations, and mobile order food.

For even more convenience and flexibility, there are two options available for purchase. These options will give you access to the Lightning Lane entrance so you can save time in line:

💫 Disney Genie+ service (available for purchase): For the price of $15 per ticket per day at Walt Disney World Resort and $20 per ticket per day at Disneyland Resort, choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of attractions and experiences using the Lightning Lane entrance. You can make one selection at a time, throughout the day.

💫 Individual attraction selections (available for purchase): Schedule a time to arrive at up to two highly demanded attractions each day using the Lightning Lane entrance (subject to limited availability; attractions not included with Disney Genie+). Pricing for this option will vary by date, attraction and park and will be announced closer to launch.

Lightning Lane selections will be made on the same day of your visit and can be used across multiple theme parks, great for those who love the Park Hopper option.

We are excited to announce dates and prices to Magic Kingdom Park’s exclusive holiday celebration – “Disney Very Merriest After Hours”! This after hours events will include the nighttime spectacular “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” and the special holiday-themed parade “Once Upon a Christmastime Parade”. That’s right, a parade!

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be joined by pals from Disney’s “Frozen” and many other favorite Disney characters including the very popular Toy Soldiers. This festive parade will, of course, also feature Santa Claus himself!

The event will take place on 24 select nights Nov. 8 through Dec. 21 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Event dates are:
November: 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 28, 30
December: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21

Just think…. four hours of festivities including Fireworks, Disney characters throughout the park, holiday music and décor, complimentary snacks and so much more!

A LIMITED number of tickets will be sold for this after hours event with lower wait times and access to more than 20 select attractions.

NEW DETAILS: Two New Nighttime Spectaculars Will Debut October 1 at Walt Disney World Resort!

“The World’s Most Magical Celebration” honors the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in an incredible 18-month event.

🏰 🎆 “Disney Enchantment,” will debut at Magic Kingdom Park. This evening extravaganza will take you on a journey filled with adventure, wonder and empowerment. Inspiring everyone to believe in magic, “Disney Enchantment” will feature music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks and, for the first time, immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A.

🌎 “Harmonious” at EPCOT will also launch on Oct. 1 as one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney park. New technical magic will incorporate pyrotechnics, choreographed moving fountains, lighting and media. “Harmonious” will invite you to travel the globe through new interpretations of classic Disney songs as you’ve never heard them before, reimagined in more than a dozen languages by a diverse group of 240 artists from around the world.

🦁 There’s also new daytime entertainment stirring at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. “Disney KiteTails” will run several times daily.

🏰 Cinderella’s Royal Table 🏰

❤️ On our last day at Magic Kingdom, we had dinner in Cinderella’s Castle!!! I truly believe that everyone should try this experience at least once!

❤️ While the character experience is still modified, Cinderella, herself, walked around the dining room to pose for pictures and say hello!

This restaurant offers appetizers, entreés, and dessert for adults and kids!

Our kiddos had the cheese and grapes to start, steak with rice and corn, and the build-your-own cupcake for dessert!

The adults enjoyed the charcuterie and castle salad for appetizers, the Duck Two-Ways, Tenderloin of Beef, and Pan-Seared Sea Scallops for the entreés, and the Jaq & Gus cheesecake and The Clock Strikes Twelve chocolate mousse for dessert!

This totally immersive, unique experience is not to be missed! While they do offer a “walk-up list,” reservations are HIGHLY recommended. And I can help with that 😉

🍹 This cantina does offer a couple snacks, but we went for the fun liquid libations! They offer great alcoholic AND nonalcoholic drinks for the whole family!

The adults tried the Fuzzy Tauntaun (if you know, you know 😉), The Outer Rim, the Jedi Mind Trick, the T-16 Skyhopper, and the Bespin Fizz. The kiddos enjoyed the Carbon Freeze and Blurrgfire!

🍹 Disney Springs 🍹

We had the pleasure of having an adults-night-out at Disney Springs!

🛥 To start our evening, we had cocktails at the Dockside Bar at The BOATHOUSE. We tried the Prosecco, Old Fashioned, Moscow Mule, and Strawberry Gin Fizz. This awesome little bar is full service and literally on the water!

☘️ We had an amazing meal at Raglan Road! This restaurant is a family favorite because of their amazing food, drinks, atmosphere, and entertainment! The live music and dancers really liven things up!

Our selections here included Smithwick’s beer, Blood Orange Bourbon, Celtic Sangria, Drunken Mussels, and Bangers & Mash! Everything was delicious as always!

🌳 Animal Kingdom 🌳

🔥 One of my FAVORITE places to eat at Disney World is Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom! The food is consistently delicious with seating in the shade.

This trip we had the Baked Mac & Cheese with Pulled Pork, the Smokehouse Chicken Salad, and Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich with Baked Beans.

📱 With Mobile Ordering, eating lunch here couldn’t have been easier!

🇫🇷 Chefs de France 🇫🇷

Our last stop was at Chefs de France in the France Pavilion in Epcot! This dinner was so delicious that I had forgotten to take pictures before diving in!

This wonderful restaurant has a traditional menu, full of flavor. Everyone at the table opted for the Prix Fix Menu. This included a drink (including wine!), an appetizer, entreé, and dessert! And the best part… the ENTIRE menu was available on the Prix Fix!

We tried the Escargot, French Onion Soup, and Charcuterie for appetizers. Our entreés were the Beef Bourguignon and Filet of Beef. And for dessert, we had the Cremé Brûlée and Chocolate Tart.

This meal was delicious from start to finish!

🍋 After dinner, we had the forever favorite Lemon and Orange Grey Goose slushees! 🍊

Our next stops were The Primavera Kitchen and Kabuki Cafe!

🇮🇹 At The Primavera Kitchen, we sampled the Arancini, Traditional Sicilian Cannoli, and the Italian White Sangria!

🇯🇵 At Kabuki Cafe, we cooled off with Sake Mist in Blood Orange and Blackberry, Sapporo beer, and Chilled Edamame!

We had the pleasure of going to Epcot during the Flower & Garden Festival 🌺 During this time, there are Outdoor Kitchens the highlight cuisines and flavors from all over the world!

Here we have some tasty beverages and food from The Citrus Blossom and Taste of Marrakesh!

From The Citrus Blossom, we tried the Citrus Poached Lobster, Citrus-braised Pork Belly, Citrus Shortcake, Islamorada Beer Company Coconut Key Lime Ale, and the Playalinda Brewing Company Hibiscus Lime Ale!

From Taste of Marrakesh, we tried the Moroccan Seafood Couscous and Pomegranate Mimosa!
