Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Epic Universe, its largest theme park to date, will officially open on May 22, 2025, just before Memorial Day weekend. This park is part of a massive 750-acre expansion that will more than double the size of Universal’s existing footprint in Orlando, which currently includes two theme parks and one water park.
Park Features:
Epic Universe will feature five themed “worlds”:

• Super Nintendo World: Includes rides like “Bowser’s Challenge” and “Mine-Cart Madness with Donkey Kong.”
• How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk: Features a Viking village, family roller coaster, water ride, and live show.
• Dark Universe: A monster-themed area with “Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.”
• Celestial Park: The main entry area, featuring a carousel, roller coaster, shops, restaurants, and portals to other worlds.
