RIP to the 3 Washington State Firefighters who paid the ultimate price and gave it all to protect the lives and properties of those who live here. Thank you for your service and God bless your families. From our family at Mt. Cashmere Vineyards.

KHQ Local News

MCV salutes ALL the firefighters and support personnel who have unselfishly given their time and talents (let alone risk to their lives) to fight the fires in ALL of the Pacific Northwest fires. We are appreciative and thankful for all you do. How many of our friends agree?

Oh good gracious. Yet another one we must try.

Chocolate Bomb Pudding Shots

Sm Chocolate Instant Pudding
¾ c Kahlua
¾ c Coconut Rum
4oz Cool Whip (Extra Creamy preferred but not required)

Whisk Kahlua and Instant Pudding together until as thick as it will get (1-2 minutes). Once it has thickened, add Liquor and whisk until all lumps and clumps are gone. Once the mixture is nice and smooth again, whisk in Cool Whip.

Fill almost ¾ of a 1oz plastic shot cup with the mixture then cover and place in the freezer.

It does take several hours to set. For BEST results, I let them set overnight. May use little ice cream tester spoons when serving them.

Hey MCV fans! Our very own Director Lane will be a guest chef at Louie's Café in Leavenworth on April 25th. If you would the opportunity to partake of his most excellent ribs, as well as cheesecake from Chef Lak, call Karen at Louie's Café for reservations. Space is limited!
P.S. Those of us who have tasted Chef Lane's ribs can tell you they are outstanding. Bon Appetit!
