Dumas, TX this morning. Now sitting in Limon Colorado. Near 300 miles not a bad day. Including the torrential rain and wind today. Just finished up a bite to eat and now time to relax before tomorrow's big push home 😎😎😎

And so, we made it to the famous Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo Texas! The paint is so thick that it melts and globs down the cars and onto the dirt. Even the street has been sprayed! Of course we left our mark!

Biker Bob and myself are truly back road bikers. We were on this road for a collective of at least ten miles or more.

As we left Fort Sumter, we took a different route into Texas. The road took us past modern farms, agriculture and some beautiful landscape in its natural form. A long with that, we did see many places that time just seemed to forget. But the feeling of it's history still lingering in the rays of the sun.

From beautiful Santa Rosa NM, we detoured a bit south to visit Fort Sumter New Mexico. The site where Pat Garrett took down Billy the Kid. The museum there is absolutely with the visit. We will post more from this place 😎😎😎

From the little store on the Continental divide, which we highly recommend stopping by. To the drive through sign in Grants New Mexico. We then blasted our way through Albuquerque and into Santa Rosa. We arrived very late and tired but arrived safe!

Day 3 we rolled into New Mexico, this vast desert is absolutely beautiful. Full of vibrant colors and natural art. We were able to stop at a few places. Day 3 was a huge day for travel. A lot of miles were put in. Almost spanning the entire state!

We took a little detour and went ahead to the Grand Canyon. There's just not enough time to ever capture the full experience of this amazing place! Truly beautiful indeed 😎😎😎
