The Confidante South Beach

🏨 The Confidante South Beach. We stayed here for one night before leaving on our cruise. It’s conveniently located on South Beach, accross the street from CVS, walking distance to restaurants and nightlife 💃🏼. They are currently renovating, I believe they will turn it into an Andaz property next year (recently acquired by Hyatt). Pool is closed but you are given wrist bands for beach chairs 🏖️. 🚖 30 minutes from the Port of Miami but great location if you prefer to have a little beach time before setting sail.

Still smiling from ear to ear after our adventures at Universal Florida! Already in the planning stages for the next trip.

Second part of our trip, we switched resorts and stayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. We had a double bed, water view room, and this time we had our own little balcony. This resort is amazing for a few reasons: first, it shares property with Disney’s Yacht Club resort so you get 2 resorts on the same property. Why is that good? You get to use both resorts restaurants, quick services and pools. The resort is on the Disney Skyliner which will take you to Hollywood studios, or you can take the bus. It’s right outside Epcots back entrance so you can walk and it is closest to the new Ratatouille ride. Great deluxe resort, beautiful grounds, and being in walking distance is always a plus!

We stayed at Loews Royal Pacific Resort in a King water view room. We had a fabulous view of the pool, room was spacious and comfortable. Couch pulls out to sleep 2, has a separate shower/toilet and sink area which is great for getting ready in the morning.

Today I will share our experience staying at Loews Royal Pacific Resort in Universal Studios Orlando. The grounds are beautiful and the resort is amazing. Highly recommend for many reasons: close proximity to the parks (15 minute walk or a short boat ride), close proximity to City Walk area, comfortable beds, very nice rooms, excellent pool, and plenty of food options. Guests get free Unlimited Express Passes with their stay, skip the lines and ride more rides!

The famous Maho beach, you might have heard of it or knew there was a beach somewhere in the world that airplanes take off and land overhead. Maho Beach is in St. Maarten on the Dutch side of the island. It’s free to visit and a delight for many to watch airplanes land and take off from the airport across the street. We didn’t get to see any large airplanes take off or land but we did get to watch a smaller private jet.

One of my favorite entertainment activities onboard ships are the shows. Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas had one of the BEST acrobatic/water show I’ve ever seen in my life called Intense. *See a very short teaser below* The amazing talent that come from those involved in its production is incredible. It’s a 50 minute show in the AquaTheater and we got to see if the first night. Fun facts: 🛳️ AquaTheater is the deepest pool at sea (137,000 gallons of water) 🛳️AquaTheater is only on the Oasis Class Ships 🛳️ Intense is only on Wonder of the Seas 🛳️ has 2, 30ft diving platforms 🛳️ Olympic level high divers Shows can be booked online before your sailing, they open anywhere from 45-30 days before. If a show is “sold out”, they offer a stand by line for each one. I always got seating via standby when I went to see shows a second time. Each ship has a variety. I will be sharing more soon!
